Meet Our Hygienists

Hi everyone! I am a 2020 graduate of Allegany College of Maryland’s Dental Hygiene Program. I love treating my patients with kindness and compassion in their journey to a beautiful and healthy smile. I strive to make a difference in your oral health. Not only do I want to be your dental hygienist, but I would like to be the listening ear you may need to get you through your day.

I reside in Romney, West Virginia and I enjoy spending time outdoors doing activities such as kayaking, fishing, and zip-lining.

Hello my name is Cameron Russell, I have over ten years of experience as a dental assistant and recently graduated from Hagerstown Community College School of Dental Hygiene in 2023. Additionally, I have baccalaureate degree's in Biology and Chemistry. I love every aspect of dentistry and hope to keep you at ease during each appointment. My goal is to create a comfortable, stress free environment to help alleviate any dental anxiety you might have. In my free time I love spending time with my wife, daughter, four dogs, and coaching soccer. I love talking about sports, outdoor activities, music, and anything else to help make you comfortable. I look forward to meeting you soon!

I have been a dental hygienist for 17 years. Previously, I was a registered respiratory therapist. I strive to make patients feel relaxed while providing knowledge towards their oral care needs.

My husband and I reside in Middletown, VA. We enjoy exercise, traveling, skiing and outdoor activities. I love to escape to the Rocky Mountains of Colorado.

Hello, my name is Makenah Harrington. I am a native of Berkeley Springs, West Virginia and a true “small town girl.” I take great pride in my small town upbringing and plan to do the same with my own family one day. I am a 2021 graduate of the Sarah Whitaker Glass School of Dental Hygiene at West Liberty University. I chose dental hygiene as my profession because I feel a smile can change the way someone goes about their day. At Smiles of Virginia, my goal is to help patients create and maintain a healthy and happy smile. After all, “Nothing you wear is more important than your smile.” Before attending WLU, I played softball for the Lady Catamounts at WVU Potomac State College. While my softball days are over, in my free time, I like crafting, spending time with family and friends, and baking. I also love going to the beach and kayaking at the river.

Hello, I am Morgan Ambrose. I have lived in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia my entire life. I am extremely grateful for my small town heritage and enjoy taking in all its’ beautiful scenery. In my free time I enjoy fishing, kayaking, and hiking with my dog, Dori. I am always down for a good adventure and will never say no to a good road trip or a cute coffee shop. I also love spending time with my friends and family.

I am a Dental Hygiene graduate of Allegany College of Maryland. At Smiles of Virginia, I will strive to promote patient comfortability, establish a long lasting rapport with all of my patients, and help maintain healthy, beautiful smiles.

Rachel is originally from Oregon, Ohio, from a small suburb of Toledo, but has called Front Royal home since 2011. She achieved her dental hygiene degree from Virginia Western Community College in 2014. Once you experience Rachel’s super chill, candid personality, you will immediately feel at ease in her hands.

Rachel is the proud, mother of Mia and Sam, military spouse Michael of 13 years, and pet parent to three dogs, a cat and a tank full of fish. “I love to meet new people, and it gives me great joy to help our patients regain or maintain a healthy smile.” Rachel plans to continue her education in health care management. She also enjoys cheering for the Washington Nationals, spending time on the river, camping and going to the beach.
